Last but not least, at the February meeting we will be having a Block Raffle! You will get one entry in the raffle for each block you bring. The winner will take all of the blocks. If we have a very large participation we may split up the blocks into multiple winners, however, each winner should receive enough blocks to make a quilt top! For February we will be making the Simple Heart Block by Allison Harris

of Cluck Cluck Sew. Use whatever fabrics you like, we don't have any set colorways this month. Please use quilting cotton or a similar quality substrate. These blocks will measure 7 inches finished, so the blocks you bring to the meeting should be approx. 7.5" square. This pattern is scrap and pre-cut friendly, all pieces use 2.5" strips or smaller! The more blocks you make, the more the winner will get to take home! As always, make something you would like to receive. The pattern link is below.

If you only want to make one block instead of a whole quilt you’ll need: 2 print strips 2 1/2” x 4 1/2”, 2 background 2 1/2” squares, 4 background 1” squares, 2 background strips 2” x 4 1/2”, and 2 strips 2” x 7 1/2”.
