HMQG Mystery Quilt - Section 1
It's here! The first section of the 2017 HMQG Mystery Quilt is now available for download. The ever talented duo of Debbie Grosskopf and Amy Campbell Ryan have designed a fun and exciting mystery quilt broken up in to six sections.
We will be releasing the other five sections, every other month. Over the summer, we will release sections three and four together. The last pattern set will be released in December and final quilts will be shown at the January 2018 meeting.
Make this your own quilt. Use fabrics and colors that speak to you. Skip a block and insert solid panels if you want to do that. Substitute a different 12 inch block if you have a favorite you want to use. This is supposed to be a fun sampler quilt using a variety of blocks in a modern way.
As you create your Mystery Quilt, please be sure to post photos (tagged with #hmqgmysteryquilt17) and bring them to each meeting for sew and tell. We are looking forward to seeing your creations.
