June Meeting - Jelly Roll Rug Mini Workshop

Plan on bringing your machine and staying for the Jelly Roll Rug Mini-Workshop after our June meeting on June 16th. The mini-workshop will begin 30 minutes after the end of the meeting and end by 4:30pm.

Everyone participating in the mini-workshop will need their own copy of this popular pattern. I know some of you already have the pattern in your stash; if you need a copy of the pattern HMQG will be selling them for $6; please bring your $$ to the May meeting or pay via Paypal no later than Tuesday, May 22nd to ensure we order enough copies.

Preparation for the workshop:

• Choose a jelly roll or cut 42 2 ½” strips

• Sew together the 2 ½”strips using a bias seam

• Fanfold the

• Cut 2 ¼” strips of batting, about 1800 inches total length

The pattern states your machine must be able to stitch a 5mm zigzag stitch, so test your’s in advance so you are familiar with this stitch.
